We constantly  analyze our reality and its surroundings. Observers. We think in everyday things as if they were an unexplored universe, full of oportunities. We rescue from the daily life concepts that characterize each one of our products and spaces; we want them to awake in the user emotions as he discovers about the history of each piece. We want to make a kind of hidden poetry as a background of our designs, differentiating our developments of those that responde merely to ana esthetic desire or a fashion. Always being careful in the care of each phase; and having in mind that the main objetctive of the product is that it must be fabricated, used and lived.

We are Studio Elemento, and this is what we do.

Calma is a coffee table that looks forward to be more than just a piece of furniture. Generate a moment of tranquility, a break in the rutine allowing to enjoy a time of peace.

In that way, we developed a visually simple product, with soft shapes y and no defined edges; emphasizing the smoothness of the volumes. Besides, we added a soft mobile volume, that can be used as a support surface or as a seat , increasing the versatility of the design.

Set of chair and easy chair with simple construction method, made out of steel tubes and surfaces in hardwood. Its backrest represents the plumage of a "Cacique".

Silos finds its inspiration in the shapes and materiality of the grain silos, located in the countrysides around the world. Finctional products, constructively simple, but with an unique monumetality and visual appeal that capturates the attention of the viewer.

Folding screen with shapes that come from the half point arcs of traditional cathedral structures. Its contructive simplicity is the result of being made only out of steel tubes and wood strips.

Set of products that looks forward to provide a simple and attractive solution to dfferent daily situations. The set includes a regulable side table, easels, and a coat rack.

Inspired by chinese ancient architecture, Shanghai Ottoman seeks to bring the balance and harmony of oriental culture into the bedroom. Gently resting over cilindrical columns, the upper surface represents the classic chinese roofs with bended corners, while it emphasizes the lightness of the product.

Looking to develop a simple and functional product, we translate a two dimensional technical drawing, into a three dimensional piece, in the most direct way possible. In order to achieve this goal, we converted marker lines into wood ribbons and shadows lines were solved using a metallic grill. Every vertex were taken to metallic nodes, alllowing the product to be fully desarmable.

With a simple aesthetic; Huecos Rack consists in a double box resting on a delicate metallic base. The top box is open, in order to place book and decorative objects, while it holds electronic items hiding cables with its back surface. The inferior box has three drawers that allow to keep all kind of items.

Seeking to take shapes far away than the limits of its materiality, we challenged ourselves to create simple objects with daring forms; looking for a constructive method that allows us to make them true.

In this way, Anima came to light. Objects combining the strength of a metallic soul and the beauty and warm of the wood exterior.

The Hagakure Coffe table is inspired on the Japanese Samurai warrior philosophy. It represents the discipline and training not even on its shape, but also with the production process. Willing to transmit the warrior mental peace and quiteness through the texture and smooth wood curves, in contrast with the rough and sharp lines of the steel bar on the bottom, which makes reference to the samurai moves during the battle.

The edge of the table simulates a katana sword, is carved manually with sharp tools.

Inspired by F-117 fighter plane, STREET FIGHTER bench is inserted in the city with a wild combination of metallic planes assembled in a way that the movement of light and shadows give life to the product. The strength and durability of materials applied, make the bench ideal for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Transportation and storage were main aspects at the time of developing the product.

We created a fully assembly bench, with five main parts and four union pieces.

The execution of the project was sustained by the analisis of shapes through 3D modelling, which allows a hi-tech dynamic look that is contrasted with a constructive simplicity. This aspects make this bench reproducible and easily reparable with lo-tech equipment.

Inspired by modern architecture, this product is generated by overlapping simple shapes. Besides, typical construcion materials as wood, concrete and metal are applied.

The versatility of the product is given by its functionality. It combines a bench, a bike rack and a planter.

Exploring 3D Milling technology, we came up with the idea to develop a product that can be used to present food when being served; trying to challenge the limits of the machinery. Therefore, we decided to inspire ourselves in the irregular shape of an iceberg, geometrazing its forms and conceiveing an asymmetric and irregular product; appealing and only reproducible through the use of CAD CAM tools.
